According to information on the phone, the meat there is halal. We like to order lunch from there. Tastes very tasty! The protions are very generous!
Very delicious Indian food and friendly staff. Will happily go again for eating Indian food.
Delicious and friendly service
Great food, very authentic and service really great! The prices are absolutely justified for the quality and quantity, we have been going to eat here for many years and will continue to do so for many years to come :-) !! Thank you for another, very nice evening.
Good for a quick lunch.
Super delicious and great service
Not convincing in terms of taste, delivery time twice as long as described at the beginning & clearly spicy food although not shown anywhere
Bland food, absolutely not worth the money, instead of the 30 minutes specified by Lieferando it took 60 minutes
Eaten very well. Good choice.
Culinary okay, unfortunately they wanted to cheat me - more was collected than was on the menu and also on the bill that was requested afterwards. Not a word of regret on returning the difference
Unfortunately the food didn't taste good. Inferior ingredients. Chicken with a chemical aftertaste.
The food was delicious, the service friendly and courteous. There is a deduction for the outdoor ambience. The restaurant is on a side street, but the tables and chairs are of a rather low quality. This is complaining at a high level; all in all i would recommend the restaurant!
Delicious food, flavorful ...
Best Indian restaurant I've tried so far. I recommend everyone to try something out then they will only ever order Indian food from them. And those who work there are really nice Last time the supplier gave less money back. They gave our money back and gave an extra voucher.
My favorite Indian for years. Friendly, nice, tasty and spicy also tastes spicy. I don't want to miss 5 stars.
The interior is nice and cosy, just what you would expect from an Indian place in Munich. The servant was decent and friendly and remembered our orders by heart. She noticed our empty rice bowl before we had to ask for more. Food took quite long, about 40 min after we came in. I was a little surprised by the Chicken Tikka Masala which was not the way we are used to from other Indian places (the chicken was the yellow one). This didn't bother us though as it tasted nice. :-) All in all I would give four stars for the experience, one is lost by the waiting. If you don't mind that you can definitely give it a go!
We would rate this place with 3,5 stars. We ordered and they delivered in the time frame they said it would be delivered. Delivery guy was super nice. The food itself is very decent. Big portion of naan. The butter chicken was good. We did not enjoy the appetizer too much but it was ok. All in all it’s a decent place to order from.
Wish there was a way not to choose even 1 star. This restaurant doesn't deserve it. It has been the most inhuman behaviour experienced so far in Munich. I really doubt even if the restaurant is owned by an Indian because we Indian believe in treating guest as God. The restaurant who own has no values forget about Indian value. Whoever the manager is, don't know how he is one.We went to this restaurant during the evening. They didn't even bother to come n ask for 15-20 min but they were with full smiles for the Germans who were seated next to us n who came later than us. As we were not hungry to have a dinner, we ordered Samosa and mango lassi. The guy who is there tells us he can't serve us as the order which we had placed is equivalent to the table cloth. How on earth can someone say to a customer like that... Doesn't stop there, guess what he says- Go ahead and put a Google review, I don't care. I know how to handle Google reviews. Even if he is serving for free, I don't even want to step again!!!!God help others...Just because you are in a foreign land don't forget your roots and requirements of a service industry....
Good
Great food and lovely staff. Allways a visit worth. Good menue for vegetarians as well.
Nice place, good food, good service
Delicious food with great service! If you are looking for vegeterian options this is the place! We loved chana masala a lot!?
Very tasty food, nice service. The food (starter, main and dessert) was prepared relatively quickly, tasted very tasty and authentic, would go again. Only the atmosphere is not 100% cozy, since the restaurant mainly lives as a delivery service and is therefore constantly on the phone. If you ignore that, it's a great restaurant. Incidentally, the toilets that another user noted are perfect normal toilets.
Our experience was not good at this place. The food came very late, we had to wait for 40 mins and when we complaint this to the staff, they didn't take it nicely and we're rude to us. The chicken dish we ordered was half uncooked. I would not recommend this place if you are craving for a typical Indian food.
food was good and cheap (lunch menu). staff was friendly and quick. the salat was the only thing a bit disappointing. if you have a lunch menu and can choose between salat or soup I would recommend the soup
No!!!! Not typical Indian. Was very excited to visit an Indian restaurant in Munich, unfortunately the experience has been so bad. A woman served us, a friendly demeanor was hardly to be expected when I asked why is the lamb so ... she says, sorry I am a vegetarian. Nevertheless, she could have explained as a waitress.
Could I give 0 points, I would say that for the impudence. We went there for lunch (2 tables were occupied) with one person each. We wanted everyone to order a beer and everyone a naan bread. Unfortunately for the lady from India, QUOTE: bread is no food! Quote end .... Either the woman was against our little dogs Or she actually thinks that bread is not food and we would have to order more .... What a service and a warm welcome. Thank you we know what we do not recommend !!
Such a rude service I had here, I have yet to experience in any Indian restaurant. You do not feel well. There was no order. I will definitely not come here anymore.
Best Indian in Munich, if not in Germany.
Yeah well...I know me and my colleagues won't be ordering biriyani or whatever you may call it from here. A joke.
Awesome Food and Great Service.
One of the best indian restaurants i have been to. Friendly stuff and really good food for reasonable prices.
Great place to eat delicious Indian Food ? Served with love and memorable conversation by Ms. Sharan Ji who manages the restaurant ? She went out of her way to serve us dinner after her closing time and we are very thankful for her gesture ?? Will surely visit again when in Munich ? Highly Recommended ??
Nice vegetarian food
Amazing experience. Not just the food, the overall dinner experience was superb. Very warm people, lovely hospitality and tasty, authentic Indian food. Loved the place. I would recommend it to everyone. One of the best in Munich. Thank you.
Perfect food, nice service
Perfect food and service!
Best location for Indian restaurant in the heart of the city ! Staff is really kind, Makes you feel home. Dishes served served quickly without delay. Quantity is enough for many, Tasty and authentic Indian food served. Best option for delicious Indian food in the city of munchen! Good and affordable rates. Staff can speak in German,English,Hindi and Punjabi. Lucky to be there ! Menu available also in German.
We went for Indian food at Samrat. It was the best Indian food I have ever had in the entire Europe. The paneer sabzi and the naan was so nicely prepared. Rice was served with the sabzi and it tasted so yummm. A must visit restaurant in Munich.
Best Vegetarian Thalis for 2. We always order with Samrat. Hope you guys open again soon. Other Thalis can not compete!
I can say best Indian restaurant in Munich according to my perception.
Very surprised by some of the bad reviews. We eat there almost weekly and it is consistently excellent food, excellent service, and great lunch specials. One of my favourite Indian restaurants in Munich.
Mega delicious. In the picture Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken
A delicious Indian restaurant, with good food, enough choice and a fair, the location appropriate price level. The service was friendly and tried hard. It makes you feel good and happy to come back.
My favorite Indian restaurant in Munich. The staff is always pleasant and you can easily order from Lieferando if you can't make it to the restaurant.
Food is good ..it would be nice to have more options for lunch .
Good food, long waiting time (1h+)
Excellent food. Super friendly service. Even if you are 30 min. before the end you will be served friendly and without HAST. Great value for money. There is also a delivery service ..? Really great......
Ordered Vegetable Biryani, and tasted how badly this dish can be cooked for 12 Euro!! A Big NO to this place
Tasty food , a little bit pricey for some dishes overall a good one
